Holy Trinity Rosehill Primary School is a nationally recognised School of Creativity. We currently operate our whole school 'Growing Greener' programme through the outdoors and global awareness. By working with a range of people from different backgrounds the children in our school learn about growing a greener future through gardening, cooking, conservation, enterprise and digital technologies.

The programme calls upon the expertise of not just the staff of the school but other professionals who work within the school community and wider world. Over the past two years we have worked with professional architects, web designers, gardeners and chefs to examine ways in which our learning can be transformed to help make a difference in the world. We have also started to share our learning with other members of the local community to promote ‘growing greener’ in other people’s lives.

The project has grown from strength to strength and has seen the development of new growing areas in all key stages of the school. This has included a traditional allottment and growing classroom to support outdoor learning. In addition to this new projects have been embedded into our curriculum to explore topics such as conservation and gardening.
