St Peterīs Nature Area, June 2014
St Peter's Primary School in Edgmond contacted us for help to transform an overgrown corner of their school grounds. We have created a great nature area for staff and pupils to enjoy by adding an accessible pathway, bird boxes, bird feeders, and a birdwatching hide complete with Sedum roof to encourage insects and bees.
There is also an outdoor classroom to enable teaching outside the classroom and an area with a firepit and seating screened with hazel hurdles.
We removed the existing pond platform and build a larger, new platform in its place.
We hope that the children and staff are as pleased with the finished result as we are.
